“The Wrestlers faced some cursed clawing Necros today. It turned into a real horror show!
Straight away we were blitzed, with a snot being ko'd by the superstar Wolf who went next to the ball. Jim ko'd one zombie but Big Daddy double skulled his blitz (rr'd both down as needed to push from ball). The agile ghoul picked up, the Wolf injured a snot, and already it looked like there was no way back for us. The Ghoul got the score.
Lucan then went to receive a longer kick. He tried to gfi forward and snaked, and was ko'd! The Ogres tried to stop the steal but Jim was ko'd and Big Daddy was cas'd by a Golem. We then failed a snot pass attempt and the rookie Wolf scored their 2nd. Meanwhile the superstar Wolf almost clawed Haystacks to death. But the apo did manage to reduce it to an injury needing some recovery.
We had another drive this half. Lucan was still out ko'd, and they kicked wide. And one of their fans PINPOINTED the receiver snot Jake near the ball and cas'd him with a rock! Before half-time Tom Thumb was furious and retired their rookie Wolf in a dirty gang foul.
Second half it continued even worse. Their superstar Wolf thunder got a 3rd cas straight off when he blitzed ogre Kendo. I hadn't been sure which player to make my 3rd on the LOS, with lack of numbers. I had decided that Waterboy could take it rather than Ogre or dirty player, but I was worried. He was promptly killed by the strong golem! The 3rd member of our old statup quartet to be taken out. 86 matches old! A zombie even managed to catch a scattered drop after we blitzed their carrier. We survived some fouls. A ghoul scored their 4th, and next drive we had just 3 players.
Lucan ran back to try and get the ball and again tripped up! This time stunned next to the ball. After an Undead failed pass he recklessly picked up the ball. A Wolf blitzed him...and ko'd him. A Wight then scored the 5th TD.
Just Jim and Bicep could setup. They survived the final moments of the match.

4 out of 10 GFIs failed for us today. 5-0 defeat equals a record set against us by Wood Elves years ago. A day of infamy!
LLL misses his old freaky snot quartet playmates, but was somehow given his first MVP for a long time. Perhaps due to bravery late on. At least now he is within 7 SPP of Chuck's snotling SPP record.
