“A fun game, and one of the first ones I can recall actually enjoying playing with my Angry Men - starting to understand how to exploit their speed. Quite scary to go up against a team with so much Guard, but some lucky fouling early on took out their Dirty Player, so that was one less thing to worry about. A while ago I would be screaming and yelling with every gang foul I suffered, but I seem to be more sanguine about them now.

First half didn't take too much damage (apart from Lazlo getting niggled) and the dice were mostly on my side. Second half I was hoping for a draw so I scored too early, letting Jerry go 2-1 up by the 6th turn. Choleric Charlie got the ball tantalisingly close to the end zone, but I'd miscounted turns. Thankfully, a last turn blitz from the ghoul pushed him over the line, for a draw. Nobody else broken apart from some zombies and No Verdure, who fractured his own leg in a failed block. Phew.”
