“Here in the pouring rain the Plebeians faced Dark Elves with two Assassins and a strength 4 player. Both sides carrying loners.
The Elves had the ball, moved to one side and were forced across to the middle. They left one of our linos unmarked behind them, who could help the dodging Jesiah 1DB blitz at their carrier. A reroll used on an earlier double skulls so we were left with a push on the blitz. Jesiah was then stunned and stabbed while their carrier raced off. Zeinhart and support chased him and knocked him down. But a lineelf picked up the ball and just about managed to stumble his way over the line to score!
We were a player down due to a KO and weren't helped by being blitzed at kickoff! An Elf blitzer got under the ball but couldn't catch in the wet. It was a close thing but Jesiah managed to get the ball and go through to their side. Marius did a massive blow on a blitzer that required their apo to save him from death and we KO'd an Assassin too. The Elves still looked to have a great chance to get at Jesiah but they had a double skulls before they could try! Jesiah got the equalizer before half-time.
Our second half started with Wilhelm being cas'd by a furious fan's strong rock throw. But after the Butcher butchered an Assassin to death the situation looked better. We troubled ourselves by being trapped on a flank and the escape attempt by Jesiah left him exposed in their half. He was promptly blitzed and cas'd. But with Marius picking up and more KOs caused Marius could then get away and manage a stall to win. A journeyman even gangfoul ko'd an Elf out.

Both sides, especially us, did too many gfis and 1dbs today. But with the win we extend our greatest record sequence to 6 successive wins and 10 unbeaten. Then after the match some Blitzers skillup and we buy a 4th.”
