“It was a sunny day as the Critters took on the mighty Guardians. The Critters were finally up to full strength and Skrat was itching to put his new claw to good use.

The Critters received just as some clouds came to cover the sun. The Critters advanced down the middle before switching to the near side, their high movement being able to make up ground. As they advanced the two blitzers went to work bringing down Saurus. In fact first blood went to Splat the goblin who BH a Saurus through a block!?

The Critters decided to stall in the hope that they could make their numbers advantage count and remove some more players and began targeting skinks injuring a number before running in for the score.

Second half the Guardians set up but the Critters managed to get behind them. A scrum emerged for the ball before a goblin managed to grab it and run off before handing off to Krat. However a massive Krox dodge and blitz knocked him out so the Critters decided to score quickly in hopes of being able to give Kwikk a TD.

Set up again and the lack of numbers showed as the Critters could afford to pin players in place and swarm the ball. A blitz knocked the ball out and a Saurus was surfed but a concentrated defense from the Lizards prevented another score as a melee ensured around the ball.

It was only here that the Critters armour began to fail after weathering so much action from the Lizards.

Another game of everything going right for me and nothing working for my opponent. That first half numbers advantage allowed me to run around alot and have free players and the fact my armour held as well as it did meant my opponent couldn't remove players for want of trying!
