“The Villains came up against a strong, claw heavy Nurgle side. Straight off a rookie zombie was cas'd while Seal had to regen fatal damage. Duke death responded with a KO of a star Pestigor while Mumm-ra soon cas'd a cripple DP Rotter. But the defence took a big turn for the worse when Mumm-ra was ko'd by a Pestigor and the skeleton was injured by a star Bloater. We were all over the place after that and Duke Death was cas'd out by a brutal foul. The foul Nurgle side comfortably take the ball over the line for a TD before half-time.
In the brief moments left of the half we tried to cas Rotters but just ended with a zombie being sent off.

Second half our players were somehow struck out by the sweltering heat. We were up against it, but still was in there trading blows. Eventually our Ghouls were exposed and we went down 2-0 despite the blocking efforts of the Mummies and star zombie Quickfingers. The Mountain was impressive in shrugging off the opposition when surrounded. But Ghouls and remaining Wight did little.

There was still time left but we knew we were defeated. Our Ghouls advanced but we lost track of time! We were putting in the boot, including Seal KO'ing their beast. And even Mumm-ra had a kick at a Pestigor! But we go down 2-0.

The Mummies and a couple of the zombies did very well today, but the rest of the team were overpowered by such an effective blocking team. Duke Death gets the MVP despite only 4 turns on the field and causing 1 KO. While Mumm-ra's targeting of the weak links resulted in the first time this Mummy has caused 3 casualties in a match.
