“The Raiders took to the field against Orcs. Zloos took the ball and our forces spread out, some rushing ahead. They gave us some whacks which we managed to absorb, and Zloos was instructed not to hang around long. So he got over the line for a TD. Actually we had done the hardest hitting with Ritz breaking an Orc's ribs, and KO'ing another.

Then we blitzed forward at kickoff! Nowhere near the ball, but still increasing the pressure. Ugor the Orc blitzer picked up and Skratz failed to wrestle him down. Ritz ko'd another orc. We kept the pressure up, and they moved into gaps forward without being fully secure. With another attempt Skratz managed to wrestle the carrier down! They were short of time and when a Blitzer fell their dwindling hopes for the half went with him. Skratz couldn't pick up and the half ended.

Second half we blitzed again but Zloos was stunned in a snaked tripup. The Orcs had the ball and risked the sidelines with an effective foul to KO Zloos. Hugruck kept up our efforts by fracturing a Black Orc's skull! But the Orcs started to show more strength while our dodging efforts had become a mess. More Gutter Runner and linerat falls. Always seeming to scupper our chance to attack the ball carrier. Their blitzer decided to stall rather than rush for the line. Suddenly we pulled off some dodges and so Zloos with support tackled him down! He got the ball too. Knocked down before the end, but with the scatter the ball was too far from the line for the Orcs to score. Not only that but Skratz dodged, picked up, raced froward and long passed to the awaiting three armed Throtz Lobstone. He caught and made it all the way to the endzone. A rare great play for us. 2-0!

GFIs cursed the Orcs even more than normal today. And this win gives us just the 3rd ever time we have won 3 matches in a row. An uptick in form after a 14 match winless run. The Raiders look ready for a good redraft.”
