FF down was the least of my concerns (despite winning, scoring multiple times, getting multiple cas). I started with only 9 players, and in turn 3 of the first half he SI'd a lineman (-STR), so now I had to play 8 to his 11. My boys did their best to even the odds a bit, getting more cas than they ever have in a single game before, eventually (combined with ko's) actually outnumbering HIM 8 to 7.

But what should have been a glorious day turned disastrous as the fouls began to appear. It started while he still had an 11 to 7 edge in elves, and continued throughout the game as he got more and more desperate. His big mistake was to use his wardancer to foul once, causing an apo-negated niggle and getting ejected for the entire second half as a result. Yet the fouls only increased in tempo now, with him gathering as many assists as he could to increase the lethality of each foul. Thus it was he niggled my rookie lineman who'd just earned his skill this game, turn 8 of second half, completely away from the ball. To add insult to injury, my WD's interception was negated by his safe-throw skill, both of his skill rolls were for +AG, my thrower aged a niggle on his skill (thus giving me 3 perm injuries off of this one game), and his ff went up whereas mine went down.

That last foul blew your chances at a rematch, Ray. You probably don't care, but I do. I also call you a hypocrite, writing "don't challenge if you have a dp on your roster" on your team page, yet fouling as heavily as you did.”
