“Everything went quite well the first half. No real casualties. Scoring on the first drive of my opponent. I should have known mobo was lulling me into a false sense of security. ;-)

I even mentioned the bad luck he had. Ofcourse, this was before I knew what would happen the second half.

The first 3 turns of the second half, nuffle decided he'd like to see some real actions. Suddenly mobo made casualties by the heaps. Within 3-4 turns, 5-6 Dark Elves were carried to the casualty boxes. (A magnificent Multiple Block by a mummy BH a blitzer and SI one of my linemen. Ouch....)

Battered and bruised as I was, I was at two times almost able to squeeze in my second TD. It was not meant to be.

All the massive casualties aside, it was a fun match. Mobo played it clean. Ok, he did use his DP but only to gain a numerical superiority. (And did so in a sporting way, only fouling skill-less linemen, not the key-players.) The match was a clean and good one.

I'll just lick my wounds and start rebuilding the team.
