“A truly horrid match for the Widowmakers. We got off to a good start by getting a blitz, but my trusty Ogre started us off with double skulls. We then ate up our rerolls on the following 2 turns by failing 4 consecutive gfi rolls, and were 1/6 on gfis for the game. The norse trundled up the field with the ball and I had little trouble containing them, but couldnt get the ball.<br>

Second half started and I was getting the ball, great! Not to be... they got a blitz, and i dropped the ball (and failed the reroll) trying to hand the ball off. Blew my last rr on another failed gfi, and never got possession again. I was handily smacking about the norse struggling to get the ball and smacked their catcher pretty good with my ogre, but onto the ball. The ball popped loose and rather than going to one of the 4 orcs waiting expectantly for the ball, it landed in their ogres square and the brute rolled a 6 and caught it. Eventually, and after i rolled several skulls on key blocks, and he rolled 6 consecutive pows on single d blocks, the ogre trundled in for the score. On the ensuing kickoff I failed to pick up the ball on 2 consecutive turns. A bad game for me, and a good game for Set_Arkos who coached well. But ultimatly the <b>43%</b> luck rating for me told the tale (and I only threw one 1d block all game, which i skulled of course).”
