“Was there ever a point to turning up. They lost their mascot (Penguin), their dreams, their hopes and given the coming run of games, quite possibly their prospects of a future.
Before they'd even gotten out of the blocks they were down 1ko, 1bh and 1si. Before they set themselves for their second turn that had doubled. By the end of the half, despite giving away only 14 blocks in the half (28 for the game), they'd suffered 4bh, 1si and 1 rip, had the apothecary fail to save our mascot (The Penguin) under pressure, failed 7 out of 9 ko rolls and then promptly lined up for 2 blitzes and a perfect defence in the second half.
Wasn't a thing the lads from Snorriheim could do to even make it mildly interesting for the huge crowd of 136000 that expected a game of ballistic proportions.

I daresay there probably wasn't much skill or style in her efforts...but she did rack them casualties up and single-handedly took a team out of contention for the flag.

Don't believe in giving points for best and fairest to a dirty player, so this rattie gets it for showing good ball skills. No trouble collecting the ball and running it in twice, shows good potential.”

For 76 minutes skulls were crushed, throats slashed, and bodies broken. The record crowd fell eerily silent as it became apparent that this wasn't football, or even war - it was slaughter. Children screamed, women were sick, and grown men cried as body after body piled up. By the time the referee called time, there were many empty seats, fans having gone home early, shaken to the core by the horror they had witnessed.

One of two Dark Elves left on the field by games end, Mc'Cauldron not only survived, but managed to score at a touchdown. A great effort, especially as the Vermin had planned on exacting revenge on her for injuring Albert Einstein in the corresponding Season 9 game.

The other conscious VOTSA member, Seer will be hardened by this outting, and his 3 completions while surrounded by anarchy show his ability to keep his mind firmly on the job. With Blind Navigator seemingly more vulnerable to injury now, VOTSA have a good backup in training.
