This game was about handicaps without the handicaps.
Smelling salts...but only one KO recovery wouldn't have worked, and it was a 1, failed anyway.
Doom & Gloom...but he got two kickoff Rerolls, and didn't even need those.
Duh Where Am I...ok this worked once. All game.

The Forest Fools came at the Harolds hard and fast, casuing 2 casualties on the opening rush off the LOS, as well as a KO. Things went down hill for the Harolds from there. The fans threw a rock that took Harold of War out of the game. Being out numbered by skilled up wood elves is not a winning proposition for any team, let alone humans.

"Just keep hitting those elves!" Shouted the head coach from the sidelines (in between hair pulling-out sessions). "Half the bloody team has their helmets off, they ought to fall like flies!" If they could just reduce the elves just a little, maybe they could cage and score quickly second half, maybe hold a tie somehow...

But the frail elf armour proved too much for the Harolds until the very end, where they managed to get a few hits in. It was too little, too late though, and only managed to keep the score down to a sad 0-4 loss. Harold the Conqueror strained a nerve dealing a near fatal blow to an opposing war dancer, and after the game team doctors delivered the news that he might have to sit a game or two out now and then due to the nerve damage.

All in all not much of a game, as the Harolds tried to reduce the elves who steadfastly refused to be beat down. Towards the end, they gave up on Touchdowns altogether, and focused on preventing opposing touchdowns and gaining their experience though hitting (which was successful, with Harold of Brimstone again proving his worth and gaining a measure of vengeance against the bulky elf who again gouged the eye of one of his fellow linemen.

Ahh, good game Mr_Launcher - or rather, perhaps the next time we meet the dice will not bend me over quite so far :)

Grats and good luck in the future!
