#14 Steve Konowalchuk II – Smashed Knee (NI)
What a game! Colorado was on fire in half one and showed why they one the premiership last season. But the lack of preseason preparation fired back. Small injuries and exhaustion left some elf in the recovery box. And still, the remaining elves fought back and stopped the Adepts from scoring more then one time. But a wise play by the Adepts coach called ‘Blitz, so we can score again’ played in the dwarves hands.
It was an amazing game between two of the best teams the SWL has to offer.

3 points; #12 Jakushitsu: He scored the equalizing TD. Rumours say that a hobgobo female waited in his bed when he came home. Just wearing a negligee in the team colours.

2 points; #15 Tetsugyu Mindful: Without his first TD the Adepts would have been out of the race after half one.

1 points; #13 Zenkon: The rookie in the team played well and kept the team in the game.

The crowed roared with enthusiasm as tow of last years premier front
runners entered the stadium together. The adpets were coming off an
unspet loss ot the Vanguard and were fired up for some action, whilst the
Avalanche, who had gone on an end of season premisership celebration
tour that hadn't ended until week three of the new season were primed to
attempt to defend their title.

The elves recieved but the Adpest were quicker racing out and the kick,
last year twahnlow medalist Mitra concentration making a superb effort
under the highball. The elves were far from disheartedned though and
managed to knock the big bull donw and launch the ball to the adpest
goal line, A scuffle ensued with the Adpet again regaining possesion, but only breifly as the elves showed their championship caliber and walked in for their first of the
day.

The Adpest set up again hell bent on evening the score, but so focused on
revenge were they that they didn't notice the kickoff! The ball flew high and the flew higher retreiving it and moving downfield for a 2-0 lead. With time running out the Buddhists tried some fancy moves to get a late 1st
half score bu the boys from Colorado were up to the challeneg and sealed off a tremendous half with another score. Things were getting desperate for the Dwarves and co. so they again tried for a little razzle dazzle, this time Buddah was with them and Tetsugyu Mindful rolled down the sideline to end the half with a 1-3 scoreline.

The 2nd half saw only 6 elves take the field, while the first half had been a good one socring wise, the injuries were starting to mount. A 4 tunr druve by the adepts brought them within one. The ensuing kickoff on 5 elves were on the filed and if that wasn't enouhg, the Adepts got a blitz! Still all the levs fought couragously and it took Until turn 8 for the Adepts to score the equaliser.

Twahnloes

3pts Alex Tanguay - Wardancer with Ag:5 and skills to boot, bltizing throwing catching scoring this boy can do it all.
2pts Peter Worrell II - This treeman did his job and did it well, never moved an inch
1pt Peter Forsberg - Thi catcher caused havok running rings around the slower Adepts, as well as scoring a TD.

GG Plat, and exciting game, even with all the annoying JBB issues
