There was not much I could do vs his blodgers without tackle myself. Plus his AG5 thrower PLUS AG6 lino were always an asset to the already ever easy scoring elves, Last but not least he had more guards than I had. (2 vs my single 1!)

Yet I won. For my team was inspired somehow. He received and scored fast while my team struggled the entire 1st half to equalise but they did.

The 2nd half saw more of the same; a bit of a struggle but I managed to sneak in the ball to the same Chaos Warrior whom scored the 1st half and once more he felt the cheers of the crowd washing over him.

Then my team got a perfect defense and the delfs were in trouble. Under pressure they folded; the AG6 lino fumbled the ball when attempting a pass at a waiting elf in the endzone.

A blitz cleared the path, shoving aside the fumbling elf, then my AG4 beast scooped up the ball only to quick-pass it to a beast on the LOS. He caught it (earning a well-deserved MVP for that!) and handed it off to a last beast halfway the delf half. That last beast sped downfield and was about to trip over his hooves when the coach shouted he'd be the pillow of the troll if he failed. Quickly regaining his footing (hooving?) he scored the decisive 3-1.

The shattered elves failed to score 3-2, their half-hearted attempt foiled again by clumsy dodges.
