#1 Furrin Stonefaced – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#1 Furrin Stonefaced – Smashed Knee (NI)
Caution was the name of the game coming into this one for the Heroes. With their standout performances this season having already earnt them promotion to Premier League next season, the Heroes main goal in this game was to not get hurt and hopefully earn enough money to improve their training facilities ahead of next season.

The game started quite well, with Zargithis scoring a regulation TD. Zargithis was then rested for the rest of the game, along with his counterpart JealousGuy. Rumour has it that Zargithis has been taught how to tackle.

Unfortunately, the game went downhill from here. Furrin Stonefaced, the twinkletoes of Flesh Golems, was injured. Given that it looked as though the big bugger would suffer the effects of this injury for a long time, he was offered a job as an Assistant Coach, giving agility training to Zombies.

The remnants of the Heroes were able to put on an excellent defensive performance that has been their hallmark however, despite at once stage the Norse getting them off the field with ridiculous ease. The Heroes finished the game shorthanded, but had done enough to earn a longshot attempt at a victory.

Despite this draw, the Heroes still look odds on to win the Mammalian Conference this season. They look forward to being the underdogs in Premier next season once again.

What a great season finale for the lads from Islington. In this game a new star was born: Mercedes Alec, my first guard lineman.

It was a very tight game with Horrors Heroes scoring a suspiciously easy touchdown down the left hand side of the field in two turns.

The norse then took the ball into the centre of the field from the ensuing kickoff. From this strong position they broke right, and Quirky made a lovely dash to the line.

The second half was a torrid affair as Horror Heroes were put under the pump by their lowly rated opponent. Several times the norse went close to scoring, but in the end were unable to pull off a miraculous win.

The lads are really hitting their straps and await next season with bated breath.
