We faced the vastly inferior orcs with great confidence and had no doubt that a victory was in wait for us.

Unfortunately this confidence meant that the players lacked the proper concentration and were busy fighting each other instead of paying attention to the orcs. The greenskins used the confusion to set up a perfect defence that caught us by surprise. We struggled to keep in control of the ball but internal feuds blossomed and the players failed to keep the eyes on the task ahead enabling the orcs to score in the dying seconds of the 1st half as diminishing numbers took their toll.

2nd half had most of the KO players come back and transcend their differences for a while. The orcs pressed forward and we pushed them back in return but again the orcs managed to score leaving us 2 turns left to save some dignity. Obviously this was a surprisingly clever ruse and a Blitz! put us under further pressure and we failed to savour our pride in the end.

A fun game - I was fortunate not to suffer further injuries (didn't even use my apoth which - in hindsight - I could have to save the - MA Lino) and made some OK defence and offence but in the end the ORcish onslaught proved to big as sc8bcn bulldozed down the field with great skill.
