#4 GoodFriday – Smashed Knee (NI)
After the pasting in Rd 1 the Herd were looking to play smarter. An excellent sweep drive to start was nice. Although a newbie beast took it upon himself to attack Gone...and was fouled out of the game for his brashness ;-)
The key moment was a fumbled pick up on the Beasts recieve. Allowed us to cover...and then with some lucky dodge blitz from a new kid and heads up vetran play from OzoneMamma we were 2-0 at halftime.
2nd half was 9 vs 7 to them...but we stayed cool. Just enough defense to cause time troubles for 1st TD and some great luck to get in the way of their last chance saved the day! Great win indeed for the Herd!

VOTES:

3pts Beast Master Lucious. Was slapped with a "Duh where am I" handicap yet NEVER failed his roll! Add 2 CAS and the unlucky moment when Gone got the MVP to stay ahead in the HoF race and he deserves the big points.

2pts Friesan Hereford Cross. An excellent drive and recovery to score the TD for the Beasts. A beautiful moment where he contemplated the GFI with no RR to score..but plucked up the courage and made the play!

1pts. Jeresy. Had a chance to be the hero in T16...but missed a short pass. But survived multiple claw attacks and kept coming back to cause trouble. A good new recruit for the Beasts.

As always an excellent game with Joe! A roll or 2 and it is a draw...or even a win toio him. But great fun indeed!

#7 Australian Milking Zebu – Smashed Knee (NI)
What can I say. Disappointing game by the lads..been too many of those of late. Failed in turn 8 to convert a fairly tough sask but doable and so couldnt even walk away with a draw. All credit where credit is due though and the Great Unseen is doing a superb job of rebuildfing the Black Crowes . They showed they were still a top notch poutfit to be feared for their prowess and skill.

Votes:
3 Votes #7 SisterLuck Plucky lucky beastie, stood up to a lot of punishment all game desreves the three votes.

2 Votes #14 ThornInMyPride Another plucky new comer with a bright future ahead of em i feel. was a real Pain in the Posterior at times.

1 Vote Coulda gone ( pun get it ) two ways here either #5 OzoneMamma or the ever resouceful and venerable champ beast #11 Gone. Whilst he pretty much spent the second half in the bin after copping a face full of fist from the Ever Ugly #13 Bison the White by that point he had set up what will be a memorable victory i feel this season for the Black Crowes and the Great Unseen.
