Yes, I went into this game with the view of winning handsomely with grace and style rather than raw violence.

Didnt want to destroy Rabid, but having said that didnt want to lose either...

With many AG3 passes coming unstuck, weight of numbers told the story and I did win, but did a RIP and a SI in the process (Rabid's Apoth notwithstanding).

But Rabid, as I said, an Elf coach shouldnt try to mark up against Chaos teams as this only causes us to throw blocks at you. If you can try and get only 20-25 blocks thrown against you per game and force us to blitz and dodge through, you will not only survive better, but you will probably spoil opponents offence due to frustration...

But nevertheless, well played and I wish you luck :)

Twahnlows:

3 votes to Ammon: Managed to sneak some knuckledusters in and tried to make best use of them. Managed a BH so that was good and deserved his MVP too!

2 votes to Ra-Hel: The Big Tree did OK in his first game. Had half the Westfield team around him at some points and took many blocks that would have been meant for elves otherwise.

1 vote to Karesh-Var: Always there and about... passes, blocks, and got himself a CAS as well.

#8 Sadau – Dead (RIP)
#11 Onquer – Serious Concussion (-AV)
Well.. this was always gonna be tough.. shorthanded as we were. It was a brave effort, but sadly "Echoes" lost their first SWL game. Most concerning perhaps is the continued failing of the team's Apothecary. 1st our star War Dancer "Viruk", now our brave little potter "Sadau". It seems sitting on 5 spps is like a death sentence for these guys. Clay was very sporting.. playing a somewhat un-Chaoslike way. With passes... GFI's no stalling and only one very justifiable foul late in the game to prevent the chance of an equaliser. Thanks Mr Commish I hope to meet you again with more strength in numbers and turn the tide.

N.b. Would just like to question my decision to bow to SWL advice and take a treeman rather than replace my dead wardancer in kind. The treeman was able to tie up numerous players... but never felt confident when outnumbered to throw enough blocks (even failed an important first up block in the second half). Whereas the star player quality of a wardancer has been what has won me my other games... being a brilliant cover at the back and setting up numerous Td's for his lineman friends without dominating Spp's himself. A lesson maybe to go with my gut instinct. Clays less than "EVIL" chaos approach would have been conducive to the dominace of a wardancer I feel.

Twahnlow Votes:

3 votes to #9 "Warrawong"- A truly awseome display that included countless knockdowns and KO's. I dont think "Mr reliable" failed a block anywhere. His display was capped by the fracturing of "Onquer"'s Skull.

2 Votes to #12 "Innaloo"- The other dominant beastman on the field. He too littered the KO box with his victims. But it is perhaps the retribution his Clawed hands delivered on the "Echoes" TD scorer of the first half.."Sadau" that he will be remembered for most.

1 Vote to #6 "Southland"- The most noteworthy of the "Maulers" Chaos Warriors. Overcame the dissapointment of a failed GFI trying to score a TD in the first half, to score what was ultimately the decider midway through the second half.
