#4 Mariah Cleary – Broken Ribs (MNG)
Well, it only took em 7 games, but they finally sobered up enough to be a winning team for a change.

Twahnlows:

3 points for Big Chukka, she threw the ball with accuracy, unfortunately her teammates were not able to take advantage.

2 points for Back Breaka, she tried her best to keep the scores level, but a few well timed foul-ups left her with too much work to do in too little time.

1 point goes to Neck Krusha, for trying to hurt my players so hard, even if she never pulled it off.

SWL Season XII - Commissioner Twahn Memorial Regional League - Round 7

I guess it was probably about time they lost a match, and it was a bunch of really high high elves that did it. The first half went pretty much to plan - the elves made a 2-turn TD after a failed "blitz" on the kick-off, and a failed 2d blitz on the ball carrier. We controlled the ball for the remainder of the half, and managed to inflict 3 KOs on the elves, and at half-time, the score was 1-1, and we were about to receive.

Again, things started out okay, but a couple of silly mistakes left the ball a bit too open, and smegish had no trouble taking advantage of it, converting the TD without all that much chance of me preventing it. The key here was the infliction of 3 KOs on my players, bringing them down to 8 on the field, and forcing them to try to move a little faster than they would really have liked. None of the KOs came back for the final drive, and we made a somewhat desperate attempt at an equalising TD (thwarted by a 1d pow on the ball carrier), however the elves converted again, bring the score out to 3-1.

------------------- Twahnlow Votes -------------------
2 pts - #13 Melindi Gracias
Not only did he pull of a 1d pow on our ball carrier, the key move preventing any chance of an equalising TD; but he also inflicted a very early cas on Face Masha (our solitary guard blitzer).

2 pts - #12 Havan Yelithe
For pulling off the first 1d pow on a blodging ball carrier leading to a conversion - this was really the deciding point in the match.

1pt - #6 Sooka Canar
Pulling off both a CAS and a TD, granted, the CAS was more my fault than anything he did, and the all the hard work was done getting him the ball for the TD, but it was still a good result, regardless of the method by which it was achieved.
