I did two mistakes, both VERY crucial.

1- Playing a 10-elves team I didn't want to wreak havoc and just stalled in a safe cage the first half instead of chasing down the five elves remaining. This ensured the 1-0, but did leave me open for retaliation in the second half. Next time I'll play as evil as I can.

2- My attack scheme while going for the 2-2 sucked. His sidesteppers refused to go down so I couldn't make it past his sidelines, and my ball was left exposed. Against Woodies.... sigh.

1+2 = losing a game I could easily win 3-0 without any real chance for Idolen. Nuffle really hated him in the first half, but I didn't take advantage of his bad luck, so I totally deserved the crappy dice of the second half, I think. When Nuffle smiles at you, NEVER EVER EVER ignore him. He might get upset....

Good game Idolen... sorry if I wasn't very talkative after the 3-1, but I felt robbed after all. :o)

A nice and friendly game were Jan stalled his way all through the first half. I have full understanding for this as I would have done the same with a Tree like mine rooted in the first turn. It really helped Jan that I couldn't do anything without failing my 2+ rolls either. His only regret and my good fortune was that he didn't bash me in to oblivion. One surfed catcher and 4 KO's was all I suffred this first half. 8 turn I recive. Making all preps for a chainpushing OTS, he rolls PD. At this point I really thought the game was screwed....Starting out in second half I, me reciving. All players were back from the KO box and I was eager to score. Pitch invasion. 5 players prone for me, 1 for Jan.... Runs down field with three of them near the sideline, my leap ag5 catcher holding the ball. Jan does a very good job in boxing my catcher up, but misses the chance I have to 2+ handover to a lino, he then makes a 2+ dodge and 2 gfi's to score the equalizer. Phew. Nuffle doesen't hate me that much after-all. 2 turn me kicking. BLITZ. Bam the 2-1 lead is in the bank. In the next drive I make a bad play in not using a rr to get his SF blitzer down, and then roll a snake-eyes on a dodge to blitz the ball-carrier. Jan then is a little sloppy in protecting his st2 ball carrier and suffers a turn-over on a failed dodge. After some blockin and moving in position I gat a 2db on his carrier wich result in a POW after re-roll. The ball goes into the crowd ( my fans ) who throws the ball into reach for my blodge side step guard lino, out of reach for almost all of Jan's guys. Thanking Nuffle for his fickle mood, I stroll down to Jans end-zone and scores the winning 3-1.

This was a game I thought was lost in the second turn of the first half.... But thanks to the turning of the dice, and Jans inability to succeed with som crucial blocks, and almöst all armor and injury rolls, I won this game too. The wounded but mighty Spingleafs are looking forward to their next meeting with the famous Hellfishes. Until then, Play it safe and have a good time.

Cheers for a good game as always Jan.

Idolen
