The fourth and last rookie lizard to join the skinks in season 15 wasted no time getting on the scoreboard. Lphskeieyau had an excellent start and is already tougher to put down. We're expecting big things from this little guy next season.
Well we were right on the money, he scored in the first two games to maintain his excellent progress but his career seems likely to be cruelly cut short by a bad knee which showed up after the game against Westfield maulers. Too much experience too fast, his body just couldn't cope.
Lphskeieyau continues to find a place in the lineup, living vicariously as the player always expected to cover for his healthier team mates. It remains to be seen how long he can survive the added danger he now faces in every match.
Still a blinder of a season, showing up for nearly every game and getting the skinks off to a great start in the final match against Da Greenskin Raiders with some pinpoint kicking in a further attempt to prove himself an essential player to the team. However a big hit very early in the piece smashed his other knee and when the coach told the apothecary he wasn't quite 'that' essential a promising career was finally ended.
