"This lad was one of the first to came at the abbey, and he looked lost and confused. He told me his parents abandoned him since they had no food to share with him, they gave him a kick in the butt and sent him in search of better luck. Scrawny and short as he is he started to play with us, and in the very first game he was permanently injured. I tried to convince him to retire, but he was adamant: he stayed and played, supporting team mates with admirable courage and occasionally scoring.
