Grash’Ma Killga’Maas has always been the aspirations of his clan since his youth. He was widely considered to be one of the more intelligent of his breed and was often recruited as strategist in the annual raids on the villages on the outskirts of Mannerheim. It was on one such raid that he saw the sport of Blood Bowl being played and he halted the attack. The raiding party watched for the length of the match and Grash’Ma knew his calling in life. He thought he could take what he saw back to the clan and start his own team, but learned that his “team” was not quick enough to grasp the concept of the game. Grash decided there was only one course he could take. But since it was still the season when the Ogres would invade he knew he could not very well just walk straight up to the gates of Mannerheim and be recruited on the spot. So he took his time to design his own uniform with the crest of Mannerheim emblazoned on it and in that outfit made his way to the gates of Mannerheim. At the gates he was greeted with such praise and enthusiasm that he felt even more confident about his plan. Coach Mack Shanahan saw the Ogre walking the streets in his uniform and knew he had a star center blocker for his new NAFL team.
