Maud is an agent of the Chaos God Nurgle, the Great Unclean one and Blessed Father. Most followers of Great Father Nurgle are blessed with impervious health, but these great blessings also tends to manifest in such ways, that followers of Nurgle are ill suited towards working undercover. Maud however, despite having a certain air about him, has had the great misfortune of not being blessed by the Great Father to the same degree as his fellow rotters, making him eligble to infiltrate cults of the other Chaos Gods. Maybe one day Maud will be blessed by the Great Father, and maybe that very same day the Slaneeshi cultists will tear him limb from limb.
