06/11/04 :: Team Announces Signing Of Captain, Green Groop Capten

After their first match, a 3-0 victory over Children of the Khorn, Dorks! have announced they have signed a team captain, a Black Orc Blocker by the name of Green Groop Capten. "Yerr! I iz gonna leed the Green Groop to win!" was his initial reaction. Previously, the team had delayed the appointment of a captain, with all four blitzers staking an equal claim to the title, the thrower wanting nothing to do with the burdon of having to captain as well as being the team's star quarterback, and the goblins too small to exert their force and be listened to. The team troll, Big Smelley Dumbo, was unable to complete the Captaincy Application Form, getting stuck when ask to print "Name".

Already, this signing has attracted much interest among the team, with rumours flying that some members of the team are a little disgruntled at a member of the mysterious "Green Groop" being appointed team captain. Tuffy, one of the Dorks! blitzers, is said to be particularly upset at the news.

In other news, the team is said to be looking at signing another promising young Black Orc Blocker by the name of Tuff Boyz Capten. Some experts predict that the presence of these two BOBs from rival faction groups could lead to rifts opening up and unrest within the team ranks.
