<b> Entry 1 - 19 June 2005 </b>

My name is Skorri, and the fact that I'm even writing this is despicable. Why should I bother?

Some great Dwarf Lord told me that writing your thoughts helps "ease the anger and frustration m'lad". Well, here it is for all to see.

We drew our first match, 0-0. What a good start! I chased down the ball carrier when he was in his own half of the field...barely inches from his own endzone. He got away, but I pursued him until he decided to let go of the ball.

I didn't <i>want</i> the ball. I don't <i>care</i> about a stupid ball! I wanna bash some heads in!!

One thing I can't understand about the beards on the team is that they seem to worry about the ball a lot, like it's some sort of "great treasure". I don't get it, it's like it's a greater treasure than any our fathers, forefathers, and great forefathers - Runesmiths all - have toiled long and hard in their Smithy's into the wee hours of the morning to make.

It makes as much sense as chasing a Dragon over a cliff, really.....

I admit I've chased a Dragon over a cliff once. Blood everywhere, bones out of sockets. Oh yes, it was terrible....the Dragon didn't stand a chance.

Anyway, back to the story. Kurgash and Manglor did some bashin' too, so we'll be sharin' the XXXXXXX ale Ungrim - our captain - brewed up. Those beards deserve a toast! Bring back the biff!

Why didn't I hurt someone? I was too busy tryin' to chase down the ball carrier - apparently that's what I'm meant to do, get the ball so our team can have it.

Waste of good bashin' time if you ask me.

Well it has certainly been a while since our last game. We travelled undergroung for a good 6 months before we found a skaven team who was willing to come topside for a game.

What a game it was, all the walking here certainly kept all the lads fit, because we won the game!

Oh.... I accidentally killed a rat.... It <i>was</i> an accident, I promise...
