The Shirkers started off their profesional career on a high winning their first three game son the trot.

Their third game was a bit of a turning point though. They played the Rotgut Bourbon Barrels, and it was a particularly fierce match, both teams seemed to REALLY want the win, and it was the shirkers who came out on top 2-0. Is this the begining of a rivalry, only time will tell.
