This is a story about blood, tears and unholy arts. This is a story about a cheese sandwich. Sacharissa Lagrimosa Stein was the youngest heir of old and mysterious house Stein. She was a rather pretty girl with a penchant for dancing and listening to music. But she was a Stein so she had on her the duty of looking the part. And so she was always seen in long, black dresses and she always was very pale (this last aided by special makeup). And she longed to be part of the bright and sunny side of the world but her family heritage didn't allow her. Until she found the courage, that was. Nobody knows how she managed to apply as a cheerleader nor how she did pass the selections. Probably she had studied and practised in secret. Fact is, in a bright and sunny day she was at the border of the pitch carousing and somersaulting with her colleagues cheering the local Bloodbowl team. That was her day of triumph.Unfortunately that day, and her life, were both cut short by a frenzied crowdpush from a Troll Slayer in the field that propelled a fully armoured black orc right on top of her. The only heritage of her was her lunchbox. An ornate box containing a cheese sandwich. Now... If someone buys a 250-years-old box from an antiquarian and inside finds a STILL FRESH cheese sandwich, would not find that a little suspicious? Well, Bloodbowl Coach Babau didn't. Coach Babau always turns off his brains when hungry. Coach Babau ate the sandwich. Coach Babau is now haunted by the ghost of Sacharissa Lagrimosa Stein who for a week or so nightly wailed at him begging to have a BloodBowl team to cheer for. And, if you are a banshee, your wails can be persuasive. So here we are.
