Barak Varr University or BVU is a prominent Dwarven education establishment located in the famous Karak of the Border Princes. Although it is a small Karak, Barak Carr holds tremendous strategic importance as the single seaport and home of commerce for Dwarven kind.

The Dwarves of Barak Varr enjoy a relatively cosmopolitan lifestyle, which has seen the University prosper as a central institution for the city.

Although their blood bowl program is relatively new, in the friendlies they have played against fellow dwarf and human universities they have been
competitive.
