Brescia Lionesses
The Brescia Lionesses are founding members of Draft League Atlantic and play in the EU Conference, the southernmost team in Europe playing in the league.

The unusual choice of moniker comes from the city coat of arms and poet Aleardo Aleardi, who called the city "Leonessa d'Italia" due to the bravery displayed during a rebellion against the Habsburg empire, where the citizens were able to hold the city for ten days against the Austro-Hungarian army.

The colours of the team are blue and white with orange on the helmet and highlights. The "V" motive is commonly used by the teams based in the town.
