The Worthington family have, in recent years, become a regular feature at the many parties and functions of the Kislevite bourgeoisie. The head of the family, Felix Worthington II, would say this was because of the work his father put into improving the family's social assets. Some might say it had more due to Lady Worthington's 'social assets'. But perhaps the real reason is the curiosity surrounding the new heirs to the Worthington estate. Cursed by the infertility that has plagued their family for generations, the Worthingtons were forced to adopt. But it soon became clear that there were no children of 'acceptable breeding' ready for adoption. Faced with the unthinkable prospect of adopting from the lower classes, the Worthingtons gave up hope.

Until, that is, an "Adoption Broker" from the North contacted them with an exciting proposition. He knew of a large, noble family of grand descent - a strong social power in their region. Recently, the heads of the family had passed away, leaving a large number of fine young sons who were, due to local tradition, too young to inherit their family estate. A distant hair had assumed power, and kicked the direct descendants out into the streets without a penny. The Worthingtons were impressed - these were exactly the kind of children they had been looking for. The only problem was that they were goblins. "Blue blood is blue blood... even if it comes with green skin", reasoned Felix, and within a few months the man was back with a cart full of infant goblins and a large expenses bill. The Worthingtons were happy to pay.

Years passed, and the young goblins were given the best private tutelage that money could buy. They were taught to read and write, studied mathematics and literature with the finest scholars in the land, and took on specialisations in all fields of science and the arts. They would go down in history as the most intelligent goblins to ever live! But somehow, they felt something was missing. They became increasingly unsettled, often behaving in a manner unbecoming of the heirs to the Worthington fortune. Something had to be done to give them a release for their pent-up mischievousness. Felix soon hit upon an idea... one that could keep his children out of trouble AND turn a small profit. A Blood Bowl team!

The rest is history. Scouts poached the finest young goblins from the local tribal teams, and Oggy Thribblestealer was brought in as team captain, in the misplaced hope that he might become as good a player as his brother. Upon his death, captaincy was passed to Felix Worthington III who (as the eldest of the Worthington heirs) reguarly represents his family on the pitch. He has been joined by his younger brother, Felix Worthington IIII.
