After years of continual failure in the NFL the Minnisota Vikings all went for a couple of beers in a small bar called 'The Bowl' (soon to become famous).

Little did they know the proprietor had opened a discreet interdimensional portal to the rear of his establishment. After spiking the big dumb yank jock's drinks he proceeded to paint them pale blue, stick plastic ears to their heads and roll them into the Old World.

Awaking to find themselves in a strange changing room the Vikings followed a trail of doughnuts and beer that led them out in a huge arena. Startled by cheers they were unused to hearing they found themselves facing off against 11 big green bloodbowl players.

Assuming they'd just had a little too much bud light the night before the vikings turned in the game of their lives to win...the rest is becoming history.
