WE ARE THE WRESTLING DEAD SWL Seasons: Mr Whippy Regionals: Started the season with the loss of both mummies in the first game. Rehired another 2 by game 5 and finished the season with a surprising perfect record. Record: 7 0 0 Questor Ro Conference League: Again, the start of the season was marked by the loss of several key players in the first game. The difference being this time that the Deadmen lost their first 4 games. 1 of those games I should have won, the other draw, but instead, poor coaching put the Deadmen into a tailspin. The slide was halted with a draw against orcs that we were unlucky not to win. It was then followed up by 2 strong performances to surprisingly remain in conference for another season. The last 3 games netting 7 RIPS. 4 of them permanent. Place: 6th Record: 2 1 4 Manic Mammallians Conference League: I was over this team after the first few rounds, but they turned it around, slightly. .. Lost 2 ghouls in the first game of the season.. but managed the win. Freddie Blasssie Niggled in a gangfoul from the Rotters game 3 and a failed gfi on T16 costs us the draw. 2 More poor losses, one being from a T16 One turner from Faulc *claps* and then a big upset victory over The Ancients in round 6. Game 7 and a Victory over the humans to save the Slumbering Skinks from relegation to the regionals. Junkyard Dog is Ma 8 by the end of the season. Place: 4th Record: 4 0 3 Snorriheim Conference League: Finally, the curse broken. No injuries resulted from the draw against the highly skilled Slumbering Skinks who were in conference due to our good will last season. Game 2 against some boring High Elves and the Deadmen are on their best start of a season. We then Steamrolled some Amazons and followed that up with the teams Biggest Victory. 2 nil over the Zen Adepts, 3 times Chamionship winners. I followed this with the worst game I've ever played and a loss to the Ancients. Then, under pressure from NUFFLE, we pulled it out big time and Beat Quods Claw Chaos to keep the prem dream alive. The last game was for a spot in Premier. Two undead teams battling it out, and the Deadmen came out on top to cap off a good season with only a single blemish. Unfortunately Classy Freddie Blassie Niggled on 16spps post game which put a dampener on celebrations. Record: 5 1 1 Premier :Started the season in the middle of the pack TR wise. With 4 tacklers onboard and the Speedy JYD on the Roster. I was confident of being competetive. Started with a unlucky loss to the eventual premiers Cereal Revenge. The a draw with dc's bulls and another draw against the fabled We fink wer orks. Then a disastrous game against Plats Orcs saw us walloped in every department, and JYD killed!!! In 4 games we lost 3 of our tacklers, which leaves us much weakened for the games against the elves. We however recieved sympathy from nuffle and were able to rack up our first prem victory against the Fool's Tools. We were then very fortunate to pull a draw against the reigning premiers KFC. The unexpected result left us within grasp of another season in premier. Its fight night. well, it wasnt to be, with the Deadmen totally outmaneuvered by the Wood Elves. Is this the end for this current incarnation of the Deadmen Wrestling? Time will tell. Record: 1 3 3 Retired to the Fringe....
