Greybeard remembers the glory days, back before his leg was crippled. Back when he was the most fearsome dwarf blitzer in Old Earth. Greybeard remembers with pride. Greybeard remembers his grudges, remembers having actually scored two times and, of course, Greybeard remembers striking down countless a worthy (and unworthy) foe. Greybeard has grown melancholic with old age and despairs at the Dwarven youths, so content to work in the mines during the day and drink in the evening. Where is the passion? WHere is the glory? Greybeard grew tired of these pretentious youngsters and their apparent dislike for blood bowl and decided it was time to form up a team of his oldest comrades in the Dwarven Steam Punk movement. They had few friends amongst dwarves and many an enemy but making friends had never been their forte. Making opposing players retire, on the other hand, had always been a favorite in the heyday and now, with blood bowl back on the agenda, it became an obsession. Now, Greybeard is old and crippled and bad at at making friends, but he is good at making tools and machines and, it seems, Greybeard saved the best till last... Staying up for 12 nights straight with his comrade steam punks, Greybeard created a fine work of death dealing machinery... Greybeard's Gambit - a steamroller so deadly that refs will only send it off once the play has officially halted in order to increase their chances of surviving the match... Astride his death dealing and technically illegal war machine, Greybeard is living his dream and has finally returned to the field of blood bowl... The Steam Punks themselves want to win matches... No they really do... The problem is... most of them see winning as having inflicted more casualties on them than they did on us...
