Vestligkyst Valkyries
In the northern lands, where tribes are ruled with iron fists and thirst for blood, there is nothing more fearful then the scorn of their women. For while the man venture into ill-forgotten lands, to seek plunder, do battle, maim and pillage, it is up to the women to ensure the longhalls are kept in order, the villages to be run as well as can possibly be.

These labours are accepted without too much discussion, for the men eventually return with gold, furs, meat for the long winters, and fair tales of the travels south. This, however, also means that a balance is maintained, as long as the men return with those goods.

When in the north-western coasts of Norsca, the tribes heeded the call for battle during the latest Chaos incursion into the Empire, returning with diminished numbers and no goods to last throughout the winter, the women retaliated. Banding together as the Valkyries of the Vestligkyst, the roam the lands, do battle in this fight called Blood Bowl and reap vengeance wherever they can.

Sailing off into another direction of Norsca for a season did the Valkyries well, as they managed to achieve their best result so far.
Even though they managed to beat the Vikings with their largest ship ever built, who would claim the seasonal victory, the devestating loss against the Slann explorers of the Winter Sammako meant the ladies of the Vestligkyst would once again (just like season 2) miss out on the number one position.

1/1/3 with 8 TDs (-1) and 11 CAS (+3) for 5th spot

The third season was a somewhat more unfortunate series of games. With only a 1/1/3 record (losing against Dark Elves, Undead and Pro Elves), the Valkyries made more TDs (8 in total) and CAS (11 in total), but also suffered their first serious injuries.






Season 2: Sea of Claws
3/1/1 with 7 TDs (+4) and 10 CAS (+4) for 3rd spot

With their inaugural season, the ladies of the Vestligkyst managed to carve out a formidable reputation amongst the teams of the Norscan Survivalists. Claiming victory of the season was still within their grasp, as the ladies entered into the last round. However, their final encounter against the Durfang Draugr involved an extreme Ghoul to Ghoul passing play, meaning a 2-1 victory to the Undead.
However, it was to no avail for the shambling walkers as well, as the Sjoktraken Oilers ended the season with a bye and one tournament point ahead of both the Draugr and the Valkyries!
