Sacrificies to Khorne
King Aun sacrificed nine of his sons in an effort to prolong his life, until his subjects stopped him from killing his last son Egil. The King has given his last remaining son lands to rule. His son though, far from seeing his father’s maniacal ways, came to the assumption that his father had misconstrued, and not gone far enough to please the Gods. Egil believed that all of the Gods needed to be pleased, but most importantly, Khorne, and sacrifices should be made to each God. These sacrifices needed to be completed in a special way, the only way, in Egil’s eyes……on the Blood Bowl field… therefore, a team was made to honour the Gods...
Game 1 Blizzard Lizardz - 2 Skinks injured, both by Hoo (who picks up MVP fittingly enough, in a 1-0 win. Hli danced in for the TD. Solid Start!
Game 2 Nidhoggstad Firedrakes - The Drakes decided to score early, in Turn 2, giving us plenty of time to march up the field to reply. Unforunately a riot, failed SH pickups, and good blitzing stopped us in the 1st half. Frig & Hoo scored the TD's, the 2nd being a T16 throw from Hli. Bal & Brag with the casualties in a 2-1 win
Game 3 Durfang Draugr - Tight game, 1-1 draw probably a fair result, not much action in the hitting stakes!
Game 4 Wormsburg Flying Flings - Playing against Flings, I should have scored more and hurt 'em more, but a 2-0 win was ok.
Game 5 Winter Sammakko - A must win game to progress, and with Fame and a couple of kills on our side, probably we should have done better, but maybe pressing to much gave those slippery Slann room to squirm past us as we went down 1-2
