The Rottfurt Rams are an up-and-coming franchise based on the banks of the Teufel. The region is known for the production of fine wool, parchment, silver, and juicy, tender lamb.

The amateur team in Rottfurt, originally called 'The Hammers', existed for many years before an incursion from the Chaos Wastes. After brutal fighting, a peace was declared and the men of the Empire and the beastmen from beyond the sea managed to live together in a delicate harmony.

The beastmen and pit fighters contributed to the local economy and subsequently formed their own Blood Bowl team - the Relentless Adherents to Massacre and Sacrifice. After a particularly tense match against the Rottfurt Hammers, and seeing how effective these newcomers could be, the two teams agreed to merge.

Thanks to a healthy injection of gold from the local abattoir magnate, Jarl Dewie 'Fuzzy' Lambo, the Rams have acquired a seasoned Head Coach in the imperious Damon Vellum, a ruthless captain in Skarr Baal-Hamon, a well-appointed new stadium, and stylish new uniforms.
