| Named after my first 3rd Edition Bloodbowl team I ever seriously played, purchased and painted (with Testers paint no less). The team started in a house league with Great White North (GW affiliate) that had many established teams. The team ran into serious injury troubles from the start. Me and a buddy had our own 8 team house tourny. We played for the Spike! trophy using an 8 team double knock out system. The Bladrunners shined that tourny advancing to the final game after defeating the eventual winners, a human team. The humans got the ref and quickly cleared the pitch of dark elves. The team was a .500 team from then on. I never knew about trimming players with nigglers or rebuilding. The team featured several niggling injuries, often leaving Lars Manson no one to pass to (literally). |
