Ahhh, the infamous Couronne Cutthroats. Pirates all of them. Well originally anyway.

It all dated back to Scurvy McJimbo and his swashbuckling days off the coast of Lustria. The years had taken his toll, and playing blood bowl on a ship had seen him stranded in the sea too many times to count. He had settled in Couronne, with a band of eager listeners for the many stories he had to tell.

But Scurvy had a restless soul. He yearned for the good old days, rum, sea and blood bowl. The people of Couronne hadn't even heard of blood bowl though, and he had to make do with the old traveller who had been to watch a match in one of the nearby cities. Added to that, but Scurvy had finally succumbed to the rotting disease in his leg. He would never play again.

But one day, he had an idea. What about managing a blood bowl team? The problem with Scurvy was when he got an idea in his head, there was no dissuading him.

And so 40 years on, the Couronne Cutthroats were still going strong. Scurvy had long since gone to Davy Jones' Locker, and the rules of at least having a third cousin who was a pirate to get into the team were now a little vague, but the team continued....
