THIS WAS THE END FOR THE SPROUTS WHO HAD HAD A DIFFICULT TIME, LOSING 4 BROTHERS IN THEIR FIRST GAME, NEVER BEING ABLE TO BOUNCE BACK. BUT IS THIS THE END FOR THE SPROUTS...? Date - 4th of February. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Terminology of the Imperium' - Lizardmen (Tr-19/Str-26). Result: 2-2. Match Highlights: After 2-0 the team wasn't strong enough to defend and the game ended at 2-2. Still the sprouts played with dignity in, what was to come, their last game. 'Mad' Alan tripped (he tried to dodge without any modifiers) and died on the spot while 'Flunky' the master thrower died under the boot, the ref certainly bribed! Date - 3rd of February. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Sunny Side of Karnage' - Chaos (Tr-6/Str+21). Result: 1-2. Match Highlights: A fair win for the 'Sunny Side...' but the Sprouts managed to cause some havoc, even snapping the ball twice in front of their own TD-line, almost preventing a 1-0 lead before the 2nd half. R.I.P. 'Lunatic'... Date - 3rd of February. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Bloodlords Unified' - Vampire (Tr-3/Str-18). Result: 3-2. Match Highlights: A fast 1st half: 3-1 (3-0 lead for the Sprouts), which eventually ended as a nervous-cracker game. Date - 2nd of February. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Musici e Bardi' - Elves (Tr-5/Str-14). Result: 1-3. Match Highlights: A lot of skulls (against), several opportunities lost... still a fair, close game. Date - 1st of February. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'State of Love and Trust' - Undead (Tr+24/Str+23). Result: 1-2. Match Highlights: A difficult game with plenty of injuries (and KO's). Still, the team managed to put pressure and make it a fair end result. 'Tiny' and 'Smellt' will see their departure from the field to get together as assistant coaches. Date - 30th oj January. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Hook's Hoodlums' - Chaos (Tr-14/Str-18). Result: 4-0. Match Highlights: Sprouts were saved by the Sprout Lord in the blocks, except for 'Crusty'... R.I.P little fellow. Date - 29th of january. Round 89. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Nordic Hellfury' - Amazon (Tr-16/Str-6). Result: 1-2. Match Highlights: A very difficult game with cages here and cages there... 'Crazy' had several chances to get the ball on the ground but failed every time. Date - 28th of january. Round 89. Game: Qualifying. Opponent - 'Cerveaux en mode off' - Chaos (Tr-3/Str-9). Result: 3-0. Match Highlight: A close 1-1 (a failed dodge by 'Cerveaux...' in their last 1st half turn) made it difficult for them to climb back from 1-0. An amazing throw ('Flunky') and a catch by 'Crazy' resulted in a safe 3-0 win. Date - 27th of January. Round 89. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Sewer Shark Sabres' - Skaven (Tr+2/Str-7). Result: 2-2. Match Highlights: The first game with 11 players on the field (11 games ago!!) since the 1st game(!!). A very tight game, a fair draw. Date - 25th of January. Round 89. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Lightning Leapers BC' - Wood Elves (TR-22/Str-3). Result: 0-3. Match Highlights: 'Lightning' scores an amazing 2nd TD (2-0) before the end of the first half, which made the hill steeper for the Sprouts. A well-earnt victory for the W.Elves. Date - 24th of january. Round 89. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Red Army Faction' - Humans (TR+11/Str+35). Result: 2-4. Match Highlights: An intense game - the Sprouts take the lead twice (1-0 and 2-1) despite having 6 or less players during the whole game. 'Titanic' could have made it 3-3 if he wouldn't have fumbled on a LONG BOMB (AG5)... instead it turned out to be 2-4... Date - 23rd of January. Round 89. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Endless Possibility' - Wood Elves (TR+-0/Str+3). Result: 2-3. Match Highlights: Difficult to defend with +-5 players, but managed to do well. A lot of ball-bouncing, could have gone either way. Date - 22nd of January. Round 89. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Shylock Redemption - Dark Elves (TR+12/Str+4). Result: 2-4. Match Highlights: The Sprouts got to a bad start, losing a few players, having to DEFEND the whole game, still managing to put pressure and almost scoring 3-3 at one point. Date - 19th of January. Round 88. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Nervous Ones' - High Elves (TR-4/Str-24). Result: 4-0. Match Highlights: 'Crusty' made an unbelievable move to secure the win. He had to dodge twice (3 tackle zones, used a RR), pick up the ball and throw (short pass) while standing in 3 tackle zones. Date - 18th of January. Round 88. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Terminology of the Imperium' - Lizardmen (TR+22/Str+11). Result: 4-2. Match Highlights: Not a bloody game, quite intensive. 3-0 to the Sprouts after the first half, all TD's scored while defending (kicking). Date - 16th of January. Round 88. Game: Qualifying. Opponent: 'Red Army Faction' - Humans (TR+25/Str+42). Result: 0-3. Match Highlights: 1 sprout died; several sprouts on the (red) benches, nothing much to do... Date - 13th of January. Round 88. Game: Qualifying. Opponent 'No-brain ALL-STARS' - Undead (TR+23/Str+34). Result: 0-3. Match Highlights: A lot of casualties against my team... A little obvious, don't you think? Date - 13th of January. Round 88. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Daisycutters' - Halflings (TR+56/Str-9). Result: 4-1. Match Highlights: 'Tiny' scored a Hat-Trick. Date - 12th of Kanuary. Round 88. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Shylock Redemption' - Dark Elves (TR+44/Str+25). Result: 3-4. Match Highlights: 'Titanic' Adam scored a Hat-Trick. Särinë (Dark Elves) scored 4 Td's. A very intense and interesting game. Date - 11th of January. Round 88. Game: Qualifying. Opponent = 'Empire Warboars' - Orcs (TR+42/Str+33). Result: 2-2.
