Uther Redbeard and his viking buddies were having a pint or twelve in the local mead hall when a scurvy git of a King's messenger burst through the doors to announce the Hobbiton XXV Blood Bowl league.

Now Uther and the lads had never played a game of Blood Bowl in their lives but they'd punted a few goblin heads around the yard for kicks and giggles a time or two so they figured they had what it takes to succeed on the pitch. Besides they were a battle-hardened crew of mean vicious vikings that would enjoy crunching some bones. If that also meant winning some gold and getting some fine wenches along the way, so be it!

On the way to the pitch, they came across a drunken Minotaur, Tahngarth Bloodhoof, that challenged the boys to a fight. Uther tricked the beast into a game of chance instead. The stakes were high: if Tahngarth won he could have his way with his pick of the men's wenches, if he lost he had to join the team. Of course the game was rigged and Uther won. Tahngarth resented having to serve the puny humans until he found out that the kegs of mead would be endless...

<b>Hobbiton XXV</b>
The Ragna Rockers finish their first league with a record of 2-1-2. Good enough for 2nd place! Not bad for their first effort.

<b>Tahngarth Bloodhoof Retires</b>
After getting stomped on by a Beast of Nurgle and suffering chronic back problems, Tahngarth decided he'd rather just get drunk all the time. Uther convinced him to stay on as a coach.

<b> Ragna Rockers Hire Itanar'juat</b>
With a bunch of gold in the team chest and with the void left by Tahngarth's retirement, Uther thought it would be a good idea to hire some muscle. So he went out and found <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=6400822>Itanar'juat</a href>, an Ogre come down from Norsca to watch the Hobbiton Cup tourney. Itanar'juat was impressed with the Rockers and agreed to join the team in exchange for a percentage of the team's winnings.

<b>Olaf Ironside retires</b>
Despite being the Rockers' star player, Olaf decided to retire in an effort to control the team's costs in this time of economic uncertainty. Although he was quite skilled he was also hampered by a niggling injury. His teammates are sorry that he will no longer share the pitch with them but he is staying on as a coach.

<b> KO CUP XXIX</b>
The boys advanced to the 2nd round via a bye only to lose 1-0 to the Westside Wheelbarrows undead team, despite inflicting 5 casualties on them, including a kill by the new Ogre Itanar'juat!

<b>KO CUP XXX</b>
2-0 first round win versus some Chaos Dwarves called Manbull. Uther had a stellar game with 1 Completion, 1 TD and MVP. Itanar'juat also caused SI-niggle (apo'd successfully) which earned him his first skill.
1-0 second round loss vs a tough Dwarf squad called Columbia Mining Co.

<b>KO SHIELD XXX</b>
2-0 first round win vs Vindictive Stampede, a depleted Chaos Dwarf squad. Things started ugly when one of the Rocker's fans threw a rock on opening kick off, killing a CD blocker. On the CD's first turn they then killed Horst Thurmond (apo succeeded). Turn 2 saw Bjorn Bearskin fouling the Stampede's minotaur and inflicting a SI-niggle. Was pretty much a cakewalk for the Rockers from there. Itanar'juat aged on his 2nd skill roll (-MA).

<b>Lars Northstar Retires</b>
After suffering a crushing blow that left Lars psychologically damaged and frail, the star blitzer decided it would be much better if he went and built a home in the valley with his favorite mead wench.

<b>Rockers Suffer Devastating Losses</b>
In a KO Cup 1st round match, the Rockers suffered heavy losses when <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=6335741>Rollo Koldheart</a> and <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=6667561>Mance Rayder</a> left the team to join the halls of Valhalla. Team captain Uther Redbeard was furious with the apothecary's failure to save Rollo and promptly sacrificed him to Odin after the match. "Rollo was a good friend of mine, a fierce warrior and a skilled player," said Uther, choking back his tears and rage. "He will sorely be missed. Losing Mance, so early in his career, doesn't help the team much either."

<b>The Rockers Call it Quits</b>
Having suffered 1 SI and 2 RIPs in a game against some hard-hitting Orcs, including the death of team captain Uther Redbeard, the Rockers have decided to return to the mead halls of Norsca to live out the remainder of their days peacefully and drunk.
