| When Bolgrimm Axehand set to sail in his longboat with his bravest warriors it was in search of pillage, adventure and loot. What he found was somewhat different than he or his men and women expected. While traveling along the coasts south of their home, the shield maiden Anette called out torchlight on the late evening horizon. The bloodthirsty crew set oars and rowed towards the light, hungry for battle. But as they leapt from their boats and charged onto the unusually large docks, they found themselves in the midst of a throng of people of many races jeering and bellowing in rage and a team of 16 armored warriors standing in the midst of a large open pier with strangely painted lines and markers. Puzzled, the warriors looked around at the massive throng of people that looked down upon them from the bleachers until Bolgrimm was approached by a man in a funny black and white striped shirt. "Oh, Good! It looks like the Bywater Bulgebellies chickened out of the match. Or they're pre-game picnic ran too long. The fans want to see a game. You wanna play?" Bolgrimm and his clan were not unfamiliar with the sport, receiving news of games and statistics from traveling merchants. They had even run scrimmage games during their feasts.
