Leader of the Boys and a english a**hole. He is the one who recruited Wee Hughie. Hates superhumans with a passion and feels joy when he kills them.

A scotsman whose girlfriend was killed by the superhuman A-train when he was catching a supervillain. He is the new recruit and main character in the story. He dislikes violence and got his powers when Butcher injected him with compound V without his consent.

The Female (of the species) is a young, mute,asian girl who loves to use violence. When she doesn't work for the Boys she moonlight as an enforcer for the mob. When she was an infant she ingested a large amount of compound V and killed the scientists who was working on the compound. She was captured by the Boys and later joined up. She kills, or at least hurts everyone who touches her, probably due to some unknown trauma in her past. She loves animals and the only person who can get through to her, and even touch her, is the Frenchman.

One of the original Boys. He is french, or possibly british, but he claims to be french. He has some military training though and is completely mad. He likes Wee Hughie whom he calls Petit Hughie and is the only human who can get close to the Female.

Second in command after Butcher, Mother's milk is a very methodical and calm man. He is a large african-american from who raises his teenage daughter all by himself. His mother used to work for a company that made compound V and when he was born it showed that he have to drink his mother's breast milk or die. This gave him his powers though. He joined the US Army, and later was a memner of the Rangers and a Heavyweight Boxer. In the ring his powers manifested though and he punched his opponent's head of. He was then recruited to the original Boys.

A Russian ex-cop, ex-tank commander, ex-superhero, communist and current owner of a bar in Moscow with a penchant for drinking a beverage made from brake fluid that he passes off as vodka. He was part of the Soviet super hero team Glorious Five Year Plan. He is an ally of the Boys and is sometimes brought in when they need extra muscles.

Butcher's Bulldog that he has trained to have sex with animals and things on command. Loved by Butcher and a mean little dog.

Director of the CIA. She despises Butcher and vice versa, though is sexually involved with him.

Leader of the Seven, and the first superhuman created by Vought-American. He is a megalomaniac and arrogant with no care for innocent bystanders.

Superpowers: Heat vision, Super strength, durability, flight and enhanced vocal cords, which are able to rupture the eardrums of non-superpowered people when brought to a yelling pitch.
