Once a Daemon Prince, Tholgarun now leads the Warp Stone Ravagers after failing the Chaos Gods in his efforts to reclaim an ancient artifact. After begging for his life, the Gods granted Tholgarun a second chance but a major caveat. His daemonic form was broken and dissolved and brought into the Old World. To redeem himself he was forced to lead a small team into the dreaded Open Leagues of Blood Bowl.

Tholgarun obviously could not lead a band of fellow damned souls or Chaos followers, so his body was forced inside the chest plate of chaos armour, one belonging to the mighty Doom Bull Garrosh Blackmane, and now shares the body with the minotaur. While this can cause significant strain on both the daemon and the minotaur, when one can wrestle control from the other, Garrosh Blackmane becomes an unstoppable juggernaut of death.

With the daemonic essence coursing through his body, the minotaur in spite of forced to share it with the mighty Daemon, has been granted immense strength and its only a matter of time till Tholgarun's more daemonic features become more prominent. Amongst them is Garrosh's face which has contorted and twisted into a more daemon like visage. It is not known who exactly is winning the battle of wills but if the body is anything to go by, through the distorted flesh and changing features, it is the daemon whom is winning.

Even more evident of this is the massive talons that have emerged from the hands of Tholgarun's host body. As of recent too, the bulk of the Minotaur has become as such that he is all but immovable, even by the fiercest blockers, his stature having reached phenomenal levels. Surrounding the great beast has emerged a daemonic aura, which fills all near him with dread and makes would be attackers have second thoughts in taking on the beast. And finally, the flesh of the Minotaur has transformed into iron-hard scales stronger than steel.

All of these are signs that Tholgarun is slowly returning to his physical form. If he is fortunate, he may very well restore his body in full.

However it is in certain occasions Tholgarun feels his control over the beast wane as Garrosh's mighty spirit attempts to regain full control of his body. This results in the body itself entering into a paralyzing fit of rage, with the minotaur swinging wildly around itself and stomping its feet furiously. It can even interrupt Tholgarun during the thick scrums, as he is about to deliver a killing blow, his body will freeze or enter spasms, allowing the opponent to knock the Minotaur over with ease.

************

If Tholgarun is to fall however before the deemed thirty matches...he and the entire team shall be forever wiped from existence by their gods. So the entire team depends on his survival.

*** Career Highlights

*During the final moments of a match against a rival Nurgle team (And second match of the teams' career), Tholgarun charged a rotter in the distance and pushed the Minotaur's body past its limit in his attempt to reach the opponent. Unfortunately Garrosh's mind suddenly began to struggle and in the ensuing fight within his mind, the body of the Minotaur fell into what seemed to be a seizure, forcing him into the casualty box. This looks less than optimistic for the minotaur.

*The above was repeated again when Tholgarun rampaged towards a surrounded Norse Runner. Once more the spirit of Garrosh emerged and the beast's mighty body collapsed, crashing to the ground. The Minotaur was left incapacitated for the rest of the match.

* In his match versus an insidious Goblin team, Tholgarun was occupied bellowing orders to his team when suddenly, a chainsaw wielding goblin leaped from the scrum and impaled the great minotaur, sending blood and guts flying. While normally this would indeed kill a minotaur of the normal variety, Tholgarun struggled to keep the body alive. While indeed he was conscious, Tholgarun was forced into the Knock Out box as he desperately attempted to use his daemonic essence to re-knit the considerable damage. Unfortunately by the time the daemon had repaired its host body, it was only done until after the match, where the Chaos had managed to only get a draw against the cunning Goblins.

Like so many of his kin, Dulbarion was a ferocious warrior of the north. He was brought to the Ravagers after the unlikely death of Korigoth the Blooddrinker. Dulbarion was an unusual Chaos Warrior not just for his poor taste in sports wear but other unnatural interests, such as literature, opera and a strange taste in McCurty's Extra Meaty Jumbo Dogs. No one knows why Dulbarion was brought to the team nor his origins. Despite his rather intimidating title, Dulbarion is reputed for only causing a single casualty throughout his relatively modest career.

It is unknown where his current whereabouts are since the sudden disappearance of the Warpstorm Ravagers.

The Warlord of Blood, amongst the greatest mortal warriors to ever set foot in the Realms of Chaos, was infamous even amongst the great daemonic legions. Khorne would often bring him into the realms of the Great Game, the endless battlefield of the Gods, and the Warlord of Blood with his mighty blade would cut a swathe out of any God's followers who would oppose him or his master's legions. However, just like many other Champions, the Warlord of Blood manged to fail his master. At the eve of a great push into the great sorcerer's territory, cutting down hundreds of opposing Daemons, the Warlord of Blood met his match against the mighty Lord of Change, A'khaari. While the Warlord of Blood did manage to barely survive the encounter, the wrath of Khorne was great.

As punishment, Khorne took away the Warlord of Blood's mighty daemon weapon and broke it into a million pieces. Before the Warlord of Blood could beg for forgiveness however, Khorne gripped him in his gigantic hands and threw him into the Old World. The Warlord of Blood then found himself amongst a small group of fellow Chaos followers, who are now known as the Warp Storm Ravagers. Thanking Khorne for a second chance, the Warlord of Blood now eagerly serves under the mighty daemon Tholgarun.

Vulgurak is unlike his other kin. He was, in fact, a great Chaos sorcerer, and had become infamous for his random bombardment of Blood Bowl fields the world over. His ability to perform magical projectiles and cause storms of lightning was second to none, as was his miraculous ability of divination. Unfortunately curiosity got the better of him.

Vulgurak was granted access to the great maze of Tzeentch, where not only did he manage to find some of the darkest secrets of the great sorcerer but also the potential to change time and space itself. Tzeentch could not tolerate such knowledge being granted to a mere mortal, and Vulgurak was stripped of his powers.

Tzeentch however granted him another chance by placing him on the Warp Storm Ravagers. Now Vulgurak fights for the chance to regain his great powers and also to spread the favour of Lord Tzeentch. But the great deceiver is not known for his generous nature. If indeed Tzeentch saw fit to let Vulgurak live, faith obviously has something sinister in store for him.

Despite this, Vulgurak has actually managed to regain a minute portion of his powers back: The gift of foresight. Now the great sorcerer and warrior can see the actions of enemy players moments before they come within striking range, and thus Vulgurak has an almost unearthly ability to swerve out of the way in the last second or indeed to get the first punch in.

Dirty Player
Thulgor is a weak and crude beastman. He joined the Warp Storm Ravagers as a means to gain glory in the eyes of the Gods in the hopes they would gift him with great strength. This did not happen. In fact, Thulgor received a crippling injury early in his career which made him even more physically inept, even compared to the weakling ungors. Thulgor was enraged and had nearly lost all hope until one particular match, his anger boiling inside him, he ran up to a downed player and stomped them in the face.

It felt good...almost too good. Perhaps this was a sign of the gods? Despite Thulgor's weakened state, he now serves the Ravagers as the teams fouler, as to relieve his anger at being physically inferior to his fellow beastmen, Thulgor adores nothing more than driving his hooves into the warm, soft flesh of his opponents. All the better that they cannot even defend themselves.

Leader
<b> Also one of the few players to have survived from the beginning to end. The Dark One as he was called was of an unusual character and was a rather mysterious beastman amongst his fellow gors. This did not however, change the fact he was a remarkable leader. Speaking with a voice like that of the ancient Beast lords of old, the Dark One held an incredible presence on the field and not even Tholgarun could deny that he had proved to be an invaluable member of the team.

The Dark One was redeeming himself for a crucial error he made during a great battle during the beginning of the Beastmen. Having ordered his army to go forward into an ambush, sternly believing his commanding prowess would be more than a match even in such a disadvantaged scenario, many loyal followers of Chaos fell that day. This was not so much of a problem as it was more that he had desecrated a herd stone for Nurgle upon his dying breath. The Grandfather however was open to giving him another chance and thus he was allowed on the Ravagers. While initially stripped it took a while for him to become accustomed to his new body, his spirit quickly emerged once more and his commanding presence was felt across every member of the Ravagers.

It is unknown too what happened in the end....only the Gods truly know where he and the rest of the Ravagers are as of present. <b>

No one quite knows where Izglgor came from in the great forest, not even the local beastmen. However what is known is that he is probably amongst the most valuable players on the team and also the fiercest. After all he is amongst one of the only players left from the original team upon its formation.

The Gods however had felt Izglgor's pride was becoming far too much, for so great was his hubris it would have made even a Slaaneshy follower green with envy. And yet his performance on the field has certainly shown reason for his disposition and to say he has been responsible for much of the success of the Warp Storm Ravagers would be an understatement.

Supposed to be the replacement for A'raak, Bulgranash was delighted to here he was finally accepted into a Chaos team which would accept his excessive and obscene habits, Slaaneshy teams were a rarity after all as they were far too occupied "entertaining". Unfortunately faith would be cruel and as soon as Bulgranash had arrived at the supposed team headquarters, he was met with an empty hall with scattered equipment and dust. Disgusted and outraged, Bulgranash converted the team's headquarters into a symposium for local slaaneshy cultists who also were allowed to do some of the most outrageous things which would be unsuitable to be mentioned here.
