An arrogant, egotistical and tactless individual, Alayan Mithhalar is certainly befitting of his prestigious title as Dragon Warrior, known as Blitzer to the laymen. Known for his extremely pompous character, Alyan founded the Ulthuan Swift Blades out of sheer spite, believing he and his kin to be superior to those "wretched common races" and so with his immense wealth and family relations did he form the Swift Blades in over a night. Quite naturally too, as a result of this, he is the team Captain in addition to Head Coach (The High Elves refuse to work under anyone except their own).

After recently receiving a crippling injury to his leg, his assistance said that he would never be able to play Blood Bowl again. Outraged by such sentiments, Alyan enlisted the finest healers of Ulthuan. Although his leg was fully healed, the process was long and enduring, and it left Alyan rather poorly fit to what he was during his time playing Blood Bowl. While his natural speed has returned and his battered armour refined even more, Alyan takes his place again on the team.

****

<b> Alayan has once more received a crippling injury , this time received by his pro elven cousins. Confident his armour would save him, the opposing Elf smashed his fist right through the helm of Alayan and cracked open his skull. If not for the quick reaction of his fellows to summon the healer (The apothecary was already occupied) he would have died. Alayan has begun to feel desperate as of recent, his team mates are dying all around him (or been fired due to not being worthy) and yet now he himself is struggling to keep up with the competition. To make matters worse, his now untarnished Ulthuan has suffered considerable damage, losing much of its original durability. Alayan himself refuses to replace it, still boastful that it is still the finest armour to come from Ulthuan and it may very well be his arrogance which could lead to his death. <b>

Strip Ball
The strongest and most violent of the team. Unlike the rest of his fellow High Borne, Rission had actually played on the fields of Blood Bowl before, but was forced to retire after only he and three others managed to survive a catastrophic match against a horribly mutated Chaos team. While Rission had insisted at the time they carry on, the sheer amount of finances and time required to rebuild the team was shown to be at least a year and thus the team was retired.

Now, with Rission finally returning to the game he both loved and hated, he is not surprised to see little has changed. The humans are still as lackluster as ever, their Loren cousins as audacious, and the lesser greenskins as vile and crude as before. Rission once more equipping himself in his still flawless kit and armour, hopes to relive the glory days and is optimistic that this team will not be thrown into retirement like the last bunch of youngsters.

***Career Highlights

Recently a spectator in the crowd took a shot at Rission and although the bullet missed his head, it did manage to tear a chunk out from his leg and he was forced to miss the remainder of the match and all of the following. It is unknown who it could have been but the High Elves are suspect of a traitor within their ranks.

Barranion is like most of his other kin, pompous, arrogant and above all, extremely wealthy. Having bought his way into the position of Pheonix Warrior, it is his job to get the ball and keep it away from enemy hands. While as an Elf, skills in ball handling comes quite naturally and almost second nature, Barranion himself has been taught some of the most astounding skills which would make even the legendary throwers of Loren green with envy.

This has, however to his dismay, been put to limited use as to his disgust he was forced to serve on the Line of Scrum during the more violent matches. Further more, the team's initial plans were to "blast" their way through the enemy defenses and simply walk their way into the end zone. Such crude strategies and tactics were very quickly found to be extremely ineffective, Barranion finally had the opportunity to actually throw the ball instead of having his face beaten into the mud.

As of recent, the crowds were absolutely amazed as not only Barranion unleashed his formidable "Phoenix Bomb" throw, but also manage to do so a multitude of times. He is also one of the four players of the original lineup and has become a local celebrity in recent Blood Bowl papers.

A recent addition to the team, Malarion is a Lion Warrior and although having the basic skills required of the position, the rest of the Elves are filled with uncertainty and have placed their expectations low in what they anticipate to be a very short career. Admittedly, every High Elf holds a similar view of his fellow players and Malarion himself is no exception either. Believing himself to be both a natural talent and the makings of a legend, Malarion shall continue to play on the team and show them who really is the grandest of Ulthuan.

Lion Warrior, Vawrathil Roleleolon was the youngest of his family and in fact the first to ever enter the sport of Blood Bowl. Though his mother was against it, she quickly changed her mind when offered a new estate in the finest glades of Ulthuan.

Vawrathil was always known for being extremely quick and mobile during the more civilized sports, so he was a natural catcher for the team. While it is still early to make any assertions, it also turns out he is a natural Blood Bowl player, having scored a large number of touchdowns for the Blades. While like many Elves he is quite a pompous individual, he is also well known to openly mock and deride his opponents while running away with the ball or after beating their face into the mud.

This has made some of the already psychotic Blood Bowl players into something resembling more a foaming and bloodthirsty monster as they desperately attempt to catch the heckling elf. What makes it even worse however is when he scores a touchdown. It is quite fortunate then that Vawrathil is still able to run at full flight or otherwise his career would be very short indeed.

Kick
Like most linemen, Tithuthon was proud to get his position on a Blood Bowl team but only realized just how much danger he was putting himself into in his first match. Fortunately he was quick enough to try to find himself in another placement on team and although changes were not going to occur in recent time nor did he have the skills to fill up any other positional on the roster, he has managed to pick up the ever cursed and dreaded positional of Kicker.

All Blood Bowlers, even the High Elves, know that most kickers are destined for a short lived and bloody career, but unlike the others, they actually see this position as a mark of skill and respect. Most other races see it as a death sentence but the High Elves see it as one of the proudest skills for any Elf to take up. After all, the skill required to kick the ball in a precise position is indeed a very difficult task.

While Tithuthon was thankful to no longer be in the lotto to see who was on line of scrum duty, his recent reputation of suffering horrifying injuries has made even the other elves grimace in sympathy and a reminder to them of the "cursed" position which is team kicker.

Enarion is the newest catcher to the team and arguably the youngest, if by a few decades. While has trained with much dedication and determination, ultimately he simply bought his way onto the team, already having some of the requirements to fill the slot of Lion Warrior.

It has yet to be seen if Enarion shall become a long term member to the team or simply a forgotten name on the roster in swift turn.

Nothing remarkable about this player besides his recent traumatized state of receiving a gouged eye. He has never quite recovered emotionally after the loss of his modelling career.
