In Albion, pockets of the old Brettonian communities still survive. Their knights are no longer as noble. And though they maintain their ancient titles, they live in almost derelict castles. They demand respect, but are largely despised by the peasants, who have to pay taxes and tithes to them.
Sadly there are not enough bloodbowl players in the villages for them to have separate teams, so the knights and peasants have to play on the same team.
Because the peasants are used to scrapping in the mud, throwing around a pigs bladder and dodging away from their opponents, they are pretty good at playing Bloodbowl.
However, as the knights sit around most of the day, they are overweight and pretty unathletic. They are very worried about being hurt, so they wear ridiculous amounts of armour. Which impedes how well they can play. Consequently, they have poor ball handling skills, struggle to run and even to make a decent block. To represent this, the knights main attack is either wrestling their opponents to the ground or knock them down and piling on them.
There are 5 knights maximum as stipulated in the early lore of 1st Edition.
The Ringleader is a peasant who is the one who orders the other peasants around. He masterminds plays and normally has the greatest experience in the team. The peasants are a well organised group compared to the knights.
In Albion, Treemen regularly appear in teams. They just enjoy being part of the ‘fun’.

If it was just the knights the rerolls would be 70K. If it was just the peasants it would be 50K. 60K represents both.
Famous teams
The most famous Albion Peasants team is the Albion Wanderers. This was quite a while ago and the noble qualities expressed by this team, no longer apply to the current peasant teams.
Albion Wanderers
The Albion Wanderers are known throughout the Blood Bowl community as the self-proclaimed gentlemen of the sport. Throughout multiple interviews with players, there has never been a recorded instance of badmouthing or smack-talk. Their willingness to blame themselves or bad luck after losing a game, combined with their magnanimity and humility when they when have sent stadiums of fans into riotous mad people.
