If a coach can't complete a game that has started, and the two coaches can't easily agree on a time to complete the game, then the coach who can't complete the game may wish to concede [1], however he is under no obligation to do so. The rules only stipulate that the game must be resumed. Sometimes things do come up and you must leave, in this case the game will just need to be resumed later.

It is poor form to start a game, when there is not enough time to complete the entire game. Remember that the opposing coach can take 4 minutes per turn, for a total of 64 minutes just for one coach's turns. Often beginners or liesurely players use close to this amount of time.

If a coach has a very limited amount of time, then the coaches should discuss this before agreeing to the match.

See the Help/FAQ section of the FUMBBL website for rules concerning disconnected games.

You can concede only if it is your turn, just right-click somewhere outside the playing field to access the menu and choose concede the game.

For mac (and linux?) users, the right-click doesn't work (yes, smart arse, this is with a real 2 button mouse, even =P) because it uses the Windows input API. Fortunately, SkiJunkie? added keyboard shortcuts for just this purpose. See the readme for full details, but the only way to concede is by clicking in the dialogue window (so the I cursor is no longer in the chat window) and hitting shift-Q.
