Long Lived and Legendary Teams!

In this article I'll write about Long Lived teams, Legendary teams and the differences to a normal team.
Why I'm doing this is simple. I was typing in chat this morning, talking about a conceded game. The concession was about a niggled witch elf with st4. In this case the coach really want a legendary team.
Now i asked myself a question: how can you develop a team when you are conceding due to a niggled player?
This subject just got me into long lived teams and legendary teams.

What is a Long Lived team and legendary team?
A long lived team is a team with many games under thier belt. We are not talking about 50- 60 games. We are talking about 200+ games. The team is fighting, skills up new players, they never quit and most of all: They Never concede.
Conceding a game means no winnings, -ff and no Mvp. Long lived teams know how to play and they now that they can rebuild thier team again and again.
Legendary and Long Lived teams have fans, many of them!

A Legendary Team is motsly the same as a long lived team. A legendary teams have many games udner thier belt, all from 150 to 1000 games.
The difference is that a legendary team have many fans, cool theme and many games cool games. A team with many games is well known and if they also have a fun theme, they get even more legendary.
But, to get that "legend" status you need to do things that people like. You take on all challenges, you kill and fouls and you cheers when your players is dying.
There is many Legendary teams out there. Many of them are famous for something,

The coaches, how are they doing?
Well, i have to say that I'm one them. I have a long lived team, I dont know if they are legendary yet tho.
A coach of a long lived team and a legendary team are good coaches, whatever thier CR says. To play more than 200 games you have to know what you are doing.
The coach of the team likes thier team, they love them more than anything else. And thier dream is to play more with them. It's just so funny! The team and the coach have learned something very important in thier way up.
They've learned that the team needs all kind of games to get more games. They play all teams, mostly. They dont care so much about loosing if they dont get -ff. They dont retire thier team when the best player dies. And They never concede.

I'm playing undead with 250+ games. I really enjoy to see my players get skilled.. and killed. They get spp's and your TR gets up. Your team is well prepared for something big. You play a smack or take on a nasty challenge, your best players is killed or niggled. Yay!
That's just awesome, your teams i crashed, you need to rebuild. Your TR is falling down to a lower ratng. You buy new players with one goal: To skill them up! This is something coaches of a long livged and legendary teams are enjoying.
A coach with a legendary and long lived team really like to rebuild his team. And that's also a reason to thier huge amount of games. There is a challenge to build up a team ans develop new players.

What to you need to get a team like this? First of all you need a race you really like to play with. Second you need a theme to your team, unless you are crazy. A funny theme with cool playernames and pictures. A team you really like is more funny to play. I believe that's the reason my team is so funny to play with. But the most important thing is to never give up. A dead player? Dont give up! keep on playing.

A normal team is playing ~30 - 50 games and then retirment. And most of the times, even more less games. Many teams never reach 10 games cuz they get killed or they are to boring.
Why dont you create a team you really enjoy to play with. It's worth some time search around for a funny theme and pictures. I think everyone should try to get a long lived and legendary team. It's a huge challenge!%% Take on every challenge. Play all teams, you'll need to get some players killed sometime.
Never give up when your teams i killed. See the rebuilding phase as a possibility to get a better team.
