Background
Sylvanian Pact teams formed after the individual vampire bloodlines began playing Blood Bowl. Led by Von Carstein vampires the team would show a united front a reminder that when banding together the vampire race are a truly terrifying force.
Rationale
Once the idea of this roster was born the rest was very straight forward. The Vampires of each family would feature with the addition of Animosity. The race of each type of family is their family name e.g. Lahmian vampires race is Lahmia, Von Carstein vampires race is Von Carstein and so on. The Re-roll cost as with all vampire teams is 70k due to their dysfunctional nature. I left apothecary off this roster for balance reasons. I didn't want this team to be significantly better than Vampires.
The only thing left to do was decide on the linemen. They could have had Thralls, instead we opted for Dregs, which makes the roster a little more unique and interesting. Dregs are a little slower but slightly tougher than Thralls losing 1Ma but gaining Thick Skull. This is because they are deformed, often with hunchbacks or conditions that cause thickening of their skull. Dregs in the warhammer world are rejected from human society, living on the fringes of civilisation. They are often hired by necromancers to bring them corpses or vampires to guard their coffins. In the Blood Bowl world it felt fitting that they could serve their vampire lords on the pitch as a walking blood bank.
