None of you understand the subtle delicacy of jump up assassins. Personally, I love the things (albeit not for their usefulness). Plus, people reaaaalllllyy want to kill assassins. Like so badly. It's great. |

Sure rookie Slann Blitzers suck but once they get Block Pomb they are excellent value.
All the throwers mentioned are ok for TT tournaments as they let you take another RR for cheap. |

Has to be Human Catcher. Unlike some of the others you really want to take them, the team likes the speed, but they just suffer so badly in comparison with all other runner/catcher types. Most of the other guys have either ST3, AG4 or both and cost about the same. E.g. Gutter gets +1 MA, +1 AG and loses Catch (50K of TV) for +10K. High Elf Catchers get +1 ST, +1 AG and lose Dodge (70K of TV) for 10K. It's not even about the TV though, it's about how much more effective they are at every level. A 3 skill HE Catcher is awesome, a Human Catcher is meh. The Human is so fragile for his cost too, he just can't look after himself and so keeps needing to be rebought frequently at his overinflated cost.
I don't think the Pact Skaven and Slann Blitzer come close. You can just ignore the Skaven, he's a 0-1 piece on a team with loads of variety. He is costed right at 50K and I've seen people use his MA7 effectively. Include him or not, it doesn't make much difference. The Slann Blitzer is mentally overpriced, but you can also ignore him and the team is fine. But he does have development potential, and en masse are absolutely devastating if used well, or against elves of any kind. |

This poll begs re-doing properly. The Human Catcher and both Wood Elf positionals are fine players that you see on most if not all teams.
Here are a few sub-par positionals to start you off: Dark Elf Assassin and Runner, Dwarf Troll Slayer, Khemri Tomb Guardian. My vote goes to the Assassin. |

Sure you see human catchers on most teams but they still suck massively compared to all other races catchers. |

Human catchers are awful, for all the reasons Joemaji wrote above. The only reason Humans take them is because they are left with little else to work with. |
