Blodge-SS for 110k is not bad whichever way you look at it, even with ST2. Humans are a disruption team and that is an efficient disruption player.

There, fixed it for you Smile

Deathroller is probably worse, but a "positional" that's not a positional and needs a skillup to be worth anything is just...meh

The Dark Elf runner is a nice player. Only reason you do not see much is that darkies have 4 awesome blitzers and 2 witches, so a runner is often low priority.

Orc thrower is the worst of the ag3 throwers

Nope he has sure hands.

Norse is clearly the worst. Av7 and no sure hands is just pointless really. Especially in a team with runners that all strive to get blodge SH very quickly anyway.

I often wonder if Norse throwers got left in CRP by accident?

Orc Thrower's statline is worse than that of a lino though, a very rare occurrence for a positional.

Not sure about lrb 6, but in 4 the Norse thrower was pretty handy.

Very often you were left with little option than to throw, as your running game plan broke down.

I find that Zons need to throw a lot less, and in 4 the Zon thrower worse than the Norse thrower.

As pointed out though, Norse don't have catchers any more. I still think ss/blodge/dt would be the way to build runners.

I think that is still a very good build for the runner. But with the extra Ma they are your best ball retriever and distriubter now as well IMO.

I really like the DE Runner. Developing him as a normal thrower builds automatically on his fantastic gimmick, and DEs love the ability to safely distribute the ball after a deep kick, for example when needing to score in 2 turns.

The extra MA7 player is huge for DEs too.

I also don't get the DE Runner non-love. Giving an awesome team a player to improve them at things they were already awesome at seems a bit like overkill to me, that's the best reason to not like them in my book! The Stabber isn't that bad either, really, 20k ontop of a Lino doesn't seem too much to pay for a bit of fluff and an AV7 menace that you can just as easily ignore if he isn't your cup of tea.

I see the Orc Thrower point, but I still think he's handy at times. The Norse Thrower is a great shout.

I find the Norse Thrower very handy. Sure, you could give any player Sure hands, but give him Leader and he's very much worth his cost. A Norse Thrower should have Leader for his first skill and Sure Hand for his second and he'll be a valuable player.

The DE Runner is nice, you get access to leader which is nice because the team is very expensive and you can easily develop the other one into a thrower. I just wouldn't use them as ball carriers, blitzers are better for that.

As for the DE Assassine, you need to get Dodge and SS on him, and then he becomes pure awesome.

How is it possible that the answer here is anything other than chaos pact skaven lineman? AV7, AG3 -and- a negatrait of Animosity? That just sucks on all levels, particularly when marauders are available with one higher AV and one lower MA, with no animosity at the same price!

Well I don't think you can call a chaos pact skaven lineman a positional.
